DJ Scratch and Sniff are amazing. They played the Meadows Festival after-party and had everyone on their feet dancing. Not only are they great DJs but they bake cookies at the same time as creating organic, feel good music full of soul. I mean, real cookies that they offer the crowd! Highly recommend checking out these badass ladies - definitely not your run of the mill DJs.

DJ Scratch and Sniff is a creative improvisational live dance music collective created by Serena Jost and Cassis Birgit Staudt in NYC in the early 2000s

The project is currently the love machine of two electronic music producers - Brooklyn/Glasgow electro diva Marilyn Carino, and Aberdeen-based weird-core experimentalist Fiona Soe Paing.
The "Cookie DJs" create live-mixed improvisational dance music firmly rooted in Disco grooves and sprinkled with classic Bhangra, Electro and Reggae sounds – all the while baking small batches of gourmet vegan cookies live on stage, which they serve to salivating crowds.

The collective has performed for hundreds at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, for thousands at Manhattan's Chelsea Piers and at indoor and outdoor venues around Europe. Their beats-meets-bakeoff, five senses dance-a-thon most recently performed at Irvine Welsh’s latest book launch, Edinburgh's Meadows Festival, Kelburn Garden Party and pop-up Edinburgh Fringe venue Fireside. Their debut single "Disco-nected" is DJ Scratch And Sniff's response to the Brexit kerfuffle, and will be released in March, 2019 on the Colliderscope imprint.
